6th Grade Girls Basketball Earns First Victory

Last Thursday the 6th grade girls had their first win against LCDS, 9-6. The girls worked hard as a team, using plays and passing the ball efficiently. Grace McFillen and Haley Burke did a fantastic job sharing the point guard position for their team, making smart decisions on the offensive end. Caroline Hoxton played an extremely aggressive game with multiple steals and breakaways. Points were scored by Liza Buettner-1, Carolina Hoxton-2, Grace McFillen-2, Isabella Dickens-Bowman-2, and Maggie Mulry-2. The 6th grade girls look forward to their next game against Hill, January 22nd 3pm at home.
